From Support to Skills Training
At NEXT STEP FOUNDATION, we offer a range of vital services designed to uplift and empower individuals. We provide:
Drug rehab counseling
Next Step Foundation supports people who are a fit who wants to change their life for the better, through men's groups sharing life with a faith based component. There is also an integration program they can graduate into, where they are given a job at Next Step Roofing and Contracting LLC.
Gifts and Clothing for Foster Kids
We distribute gifts and clothing to foster kids at the intake centers, where they often times only have the clothes on their backs when they go there.

Our sister company Next Step Roofing & Contracting LLC volunteers with Next Step Foundation to clean parks and beaches from time to time.
Homeless Feeding
Our feeds are more like family gatherings. We bring out the grill and portable stoves and cook all sorts of foods from hot dogs, hamburgers, steaks, kal-bi, etc. We basically set up a huge BBQ and invite the homeless and just spend time with them loving them and sharing a meal. We don’t just feed and give out food, we cook as if we were cooking for ourselves at a family BBQ and just enjoy our time with people in need. We also pass out toiletries, clothing new and used, back packs gifts, anything homeless people can use and we can afford.
Support for Abused and Trafficked Children
With a licensed Psychologist who specializes in sexual abuse of all types in California. Elisa can provide counseling via telephone or zoom, as funding permits. We also have Eddie, Jose & Sam who can provide counseling to young men, and Joanne and Vanity who can counsel young women, who just need to understand how valuable they really are. Because we are all valuable.
Support a neighbor in need
Through our sister company Next Step Roofing & Contracting we volunteer to help widowed, elderly or financially destitute with small jobs that involve carpentry, painting, masonry, plumbing, roofing, yard cleaning, or small items that can be fixed by our volunteers. If you feel someone qualifies, please let us know and we will evaluate and determine if they will get put on our calendar or not. We help the most needy, and try to help as many people as we can, but unfortunately we can’t help everyone.
Integration Program for Ex-Felons
This program along with our faith based program is our crown jewel. We provide, counseling, and work for individuals who we feel may be a good fit. It doesn’t always work out, but some people excel beyond what we ever thought possible. The program is not for everyone, it’s hard, but rewarding. We train men and women in Marketable skills such as Drywall, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, painting, roofing, administrative functions, how to use basic computer programs, heavy equipment, OSHA training, certifications, basic personal financial literacy, etc. This program also requires giving back through some of our other community programs and services. Where we can all feel the satisfaction and joy from helping someone who really needs it.
